About the MTLC

The MTLC primarily assists with fundraising initiatives and events (in conjunction with other departments and teams at Masjidut Taqwa), and provides input on ladies-oriented and general activities at the Masjid.

Chairperson

The MTLC is chaired and coordinated by Sister Ardiela Savahl.

She holds a full-time position in Supply Chain at an international corporate, of which she is the South African lead for their Women’s Network. She is a skilled coach and has a passion for people and her community. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading and considers herself a 'foodie’. SECRETARY

Sister Najmiea Salie is the assistant coordinator and secretary of the MTLC.
She is married to Ridaa Salie and has three sons: Abdul-Azeez, Saeed and Imtiyaaz. She works full-time in Finance at an international corporate and is a member of the Muslim Women's Network where she has assisted with many successfull community events.
