A robust foundation in Islamic education undoubtedly strengthens an individual’s Imaan (belief) and identity to be a committed and practising Muslim, able to navigate society and continually seek Taqwa (consciousness of Allah).
With this as a driving belief, we prioritise teaching that harnesses the richness of Islamic education, foreground pedagogies of Tarbiyah (nurturing), and highlight the ethic of care and Akhlaaq (moral character) in our approaches.
We aim to foster and engender a consciousness of and love for Allah SWT, and our beloved Rasool SAW that must mold the character of our learners.
Our curriculum experiences are designed to equip learners with a dynamic Islamic education appropriate to their academic, cognitive and social levels.
The
syllabus has been developed to include learning areas and topics that equip
young Muslims, aid in Muslim identity, and guide them to face challenging societal
trends and movements that contradict Islam.
The ISFY Programme will have a particular focus on Hifth and Tafseer (memorization and understanding of the Quran); and the programme syllabus will broadly be drawn from the following Islamic learning areas and subjects:
