The Education Portfolio at Masjidut Taqwa, headed by Sheikh Mukhtar Raban and the Education Advisory Board (EAB), coordinates all of the education and training activities offered at the Masjid. The Education Portfolio has four
sub-portfolios: Islamic and Arabic Education, Short Courses, Workshops,
and Scholarly Seminars. The Education Portfolio is/will be offering the following:
Structured Islamic courses and programmes: General Fiqh, Hajj and 'Umrah, Islamic Marriage, Islamic Finance, Islamic Inheritance, Conversational Arabic, Quranic Studies
General Islamic education classes: Beginner Quran Reading classes, Tafseer classes
Workshops: Basics of Counseling, Mentoring and Facilitation; Parenting from an Islamic Perspective; Emotional Well-Being; Young Family Support; Personal Financial Management; Islamic Estate Planning
