The MT Youth Club seeks to create opportunities and spaces for the religious, social, recreational and emotional development of Muslim youth in a safe and welcoming environment, guided by the principles of Islam, Inshā Allāh, Āmīn. The club will be following an approach of hosting fun recreational activities that build social ties, and draw on relaxed atmospheres to consolidate Islamic teachings and principles.   

The MT Youth Club is an initiative of Masjidut Taqwa and aligns with our renewed vision to be an Islamic centre that fosters strengthened community ties, Inshā Allāh.  

On a weekly basis, the club will host a fitness activity, with running currently planned as the opening activity. It is hoped to host free supervised games (table tennis, pool, darts and foosball) in the Masjid’s Education Building on Friday nights soon, Inshā Allāh. We are currently gathering donations to purchase these items, and welcome any contribution. There will also be a monthly outing/hike.

There is no fixed cost to form part of the MT Youth Club, however, certain outings/excursions/activities may require minimal fees, which will be communicated in advance.
