Foundations of Islam Class by Shaykh Imaan Nakhomo
Since September 2022, the Masjidut Taqwa Institute’s Foundations of Islam (FOI) class has been empowering Muslim reverts by transforming lives with Islamic knowledge and practices. This comprehensive one-year program is specifically designed for adults, new Muslims, and reverts, providing a firm foundation in the principles of Islam.
The class is divided into three levels: Beginner (Level 1), Intermediate (Level 2), and Advanced (Level 3). Throughout the course, students gain a deep understanding of Fiqh and Aqaaid, explore Islamic history, and receive practical guidance on worship. Our students make significant progress in their Quranic skills, overcoming initial challenges, and becoming more confident in their faith.
In March, we were thrilled to mark the graduation of the second class, and at the end of July 2024, we are graduating the third class. These individuals have demonstrated remarkable growth in knowledge and faith, and we are grateful to have witnessed their journeys in Islam. The new intake for the beginner class closes on 31 July 2024, with classes officially starting on 3 August 2024.
