Imamat and A'immatus Salaah
As we embark on the year 1446, Masjidut Taqwa proudly reflects on its honourable A'immatus Salaah (Imams of Salaah), a team of dedicated Imams of Salaah who will lead the congregation in Salaah.
This year, we are honoured to continue under the esteemed leadership
of Shaykh Mukhtar Raban, our Head Imam, and Moulana Rushdie Nackerdien, our
Resident Imam. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and a profound
commitment to nurturing our faith. Shaykh Mukhtar and Moulana Rushdie serve as the permanent Imamat of the Masjid.
Supporting them, Shaykh Mukhtar Raban appointed the A'immatus Salaah to assist with leading Salaah at Masjidut Taqwa. Haafith Adam Karolia was appointed the first Assistant Imam in May 2024.
The A'immatus Salaah that was appointed for the year include:

- Haafith M. Nur Salie
- Haafith M. Zain Gamieldien
- Haafith Tawfeeq Abrahams
Together, the Imamat and A'immatus Salaah are a team dedicated to guiding Masjidut Taqwa with wisdom, compassion,
and a deep commitment to our faith. As we move forward into this new year, we
look forward to the spiritual growth and unity that their leadership will
undoubtedly foster within our community, Insha Allah.
The Imamat mentor and teach the A'immatus Salaah to fulfil additional religious duties in the Masjid and community.
