MEC Gadija Brown attended the MTLC Breakfast on 26 May 2024, discussing women's empowerment and advocacy for Palestine with MTLC Chairperson Sister Ardiela Savahl. She discussed community contributions and the role of women in societal change.

MTIC commemorated Nakba Week (1-7 May) with impactful events: an informative presentation on "Nakba," Jumu’ah Khutbah, a heartfelt address by Shaykh Mukhtar. Our Grade 1 Madrasah Class also created supportive posters.

Masjid Taqwa's Ramadan 1445 featured enriching programmes: kids enjoyed crafts and activities, while women participated in talks and Quran recitations. The community celebrated young fasting efforts, emphasizing creativity, resilience, and empowerment.

Masjidut Taqwa commemorated its 50th anniversary with a gala dinner. The event featured a keynote address by Shaykh Ebrahim Gabriels and performances by Khuddamul Islam and Salawaat by Boorhanol Moulood Jamaah.
