Severe flooding in Uitenhage on 2 June 2024 caused major damage and evacuations. Masjidut Taqwa quickly organized relief efforts, collecting donations and delivering supplies. Funds and supplies were distributed to coordinators to aid affected families.

The Youth Jumuah showcased spiritual recitations, inspiring speeches, and a meaningful Khutbah. Led by dedicated youth and concluded with Salaah and Dua, it left a profound impact on attendees, celebrating faith and fostering empowerment.

Masjid Taqwa hosted Deputy Minister Alvin Botes promoting Palestinian solidarity in April and Minister Ebrahim Patel advocating Muslim support for the oppressed in May during Jumu’ah. Both events highlighted faith-driven activism and community solidarity

Masjid Taqwa's Ramadan 1445 featured enriching programmes: kids enjoyed crafts and activities, while women participated in talks and Quran recitations. The community celebrated young fasting efforts, emphasizing creativity, resilience, and empowerment.
